Many fine restaurants including these three are within walking distance of the hotels and Albany Riverfront Park located in the downtown financial district:

Things To Do in Albany – Empire State Plaza & New York State Museum & Justin's on Lark

Before the concert on Saturday or on Sunday morning, walk a few blocks up the hill from the hotel to the Empire State Plaza between State Street and Madison Avenue. This controversial and monumental state office building complex was built by Nelson Rockefeller in the 1970's while he was governor of New York. Then walk across Madison Avenue from the Plaza to the New York State Museum for a look at the natural history, social history, archeological history, and art of New York State.

After the performances on Saturday, wander up to the cool and groovy Lark Street Business District for more live jazz at Justin's at 301 Lark Street where there are two jazz sets starting at 9:30PM Saturday, and also the next morning at the Sunday jazz brunch.
