Bus routes M10, M16, M20, M34 and Q32 all pass the station.
The iconic Grand Central Station standing between 42nd Street and Park Avenue is the terminus for Metro-North Railroad trains from the Hudson Valley and Western Connecticut. Subway lines S, 4,5, 6 7 stop at Grand Central-42 Street and buses M42 and M104 pass the station
The world's busiest bus terminal is located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, just one block west of Time Square, between 8th and 9th Avenues and 40th and 42nd Street. Daily, over 200,000 passengers use the terminal, which has services to and from every major US city.
The central location provides easy access to local buses, taxis and the subway including the A C E, 1 2 3, N Q R W, 7, and S New York City Subway lines.
The George Washington Bridge Bus Station is found in Upper Manhattan, between 178th and 179th Streets. This station serves mainly New York State and New Jersey, with longer distance services leaving from the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Local buses and the 8th Avenue Express A line and Broadway/7th Avenue Local 1 line subway services provide links to the rest of New York.
