The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Niagara Falls, New York is a good place to stay for individuals looking for a hotel room in close vicinity to the Seneca-Niagara Casino. Located directly across from the casino it is a short walk to entertainment. There are also numerous restaurants near the Crowne Plaza Hotel and it is in walking distance of the American Falls. Although there are some facilities within the hotel that enhance a stay the hallways and rooms within the Crowne Plaza Hotel may be disappointing.

There is a gift shop, newsstand, swimming pool, fitness center, business center, and a 24-hour lounge located inside of the hotel. Within the Crowne Plaza Hotel there is also a Starbucks and the Old Falls Sports Ball and Grill which serves excellent food and drinks. Many guests take these features into consideration when searching for a hotel in the Niagara Falls area.
Smoke Odors in Hallways Outside RoomsThere is a strong odor of stale smoke in nearly all of the hallways within the hotel regardless of whether or not a non-smoking room was chosen. The rooms at the Crowne Plaza Hotel are dark and dingey. The walls appear worn as do the carpets. The rooms are much smaller than an individual would expect. The rooms appear clean but was not very homey.

The bathrooms in the Crowne Plaza Hotel leave something to be desired. The toilets and sink appear clean but the tub and shower walls appear stained and somewhat dirty. The Crowne Plaza Hotel bathrooms are not ones that an individual would feel comfortable taking a bath in, but are okay for an individual who only wants or needs to shower.
Overall the Crowne Plaza Hotel is a decent place to stay for individuals who do not plan to spend a lot of time in the room. Those who are interested in doing more in the hotel room than bathing and sleeping might want to look elsewhere for a better atmosphere.
