Bed and Breakfast Travel Review

From the first step through the door of the Genesee Country Inn, the surroundings exude a welcoming feeling. The entranceway and common area where guests are received is brightly lit and full of resources for vacationers such as maps, pamphlets, and local menus. Deborah Stankevich greets her guests as if they are old friends, providing them with a tour and a bit of history about the inn and the area. The rooms are filled with enough antiques to set the perfect amount of country ambiance, but not enough to make the space feel busy or cluttered. The comfortable beds are covered with beautiful Amish quilts and the view from the windows is serene no matter on what side of the Inn one is fortunate enough to stay. Because of the house's age, rooms can become warm during the course of the day, but opening the windows in the evneings allows for plenty of breeze to enter as well as the soothing sound of the stream's running water. Breakfast can be a busy time if the Inn is filled to capacity, but Deborah and her husband, Richard, ensure that guests have everything they need. The Genessee Country Inn is a child-friendly bed and breakfast, but also elegant enough to serve as a lovely destination for a wedding party to dress and gather in between a weekend of festivities, and its prices make it an affordable retreat for any budget.
